Summer is here, and this season is all about plunging: into new destinations, new hotels and cool lakes, seas and swimming pools. So, what better time to introduce our Hot List, a collection of the best new addresses from around the world.

As we began planning this edition of the annual Hot List, we wondered how many hotels had actually managed to open this past year. However, we were met with swathes of fabulous new accommodations, the work of hard-working and brave hoteliers who, themselves took the plunge, and opened during a pandemic. With so many openings also pushed back, it’s going to be an exciting year ahead for big-hitting launches. Particularly in the Middle East.
